GSA Safe & Vault Technician Certification
Pre-Assessment Exam
Students must register for the pre-assessment through LSI by calling 866.574.8724.
In order to take the pre-assessment or other exams, you must have attended a GSA residence course at an approved school in the past 3 years.
You will have 2 hours to complete the 20 question pre-assessment test once you begin. This will be within a 3 day window of registration for the pre-assessment test.
You will only have one chance to pass the pre-assessment which requires a grade of 80% or better.
If you do not pass the pre-assessment exam you must contact LSI at your earliest convenience.

Final Exams
After you have passed the pre-assessment exam, you will be required to provide payment for the remainder of the course before it is made available. The tuition for all required exams is $1,400.
Your reference material (manual) will be mailed to you in advance on a CD.
The final examinations consist of 4 modules. You will have 2 hours to complete each exam and
you will have a 30 day window to complete all four exams.
If you fail the final examinations, the money will be credited towards the GSA Certified Safe & Vault Technician residence course at LSI.
If you pass the final exams, a new ID card and LSI Diploma will be mailed to you.
Once a test has been submitted you will NOT be allowed to return and change your answers. However, while you are still within an individual exam you CAN return to previous questions and change your answers.
Passing the final exams requires a score of 80% or better on each exam.
